Committees, on the record

IAMR Law College constitutes its statutory committees and cells under the requirements of the UGC, the Bar Council of India, the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the applicable State Act. Each committee is notified by an office order signed by the Principal and is operative with immediate effect.

Anti-Ragging & Anti-Ragging Squad Committee

An institution-level body constituted to prohibit, prevent and ban ragging on and outside the campus, in accordance with UGC Regulations, the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the State Act. The committee ensures compliance with every provision of the regulations concerning ragging in the institute.

Sexual Harassment Committee

Constituted to establish and maintain a congenial, conducive atmosphere in which students, teachers and non-teaching staff can work together in an environment free of violence, harassment, exploitation and intimidation — as required by UGC Regulations, the Hon'ble Supreme Court and the State Act.

SC/ST Committee

Constituted as per the statutory requirements of the UGC to resolve issues concerning SC/ST employees and students. The cell works to ensure equal opportunity and social justice for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and minority students, and to see that every eligible student receives the scholarships and benefits due under government schemes.

Career Guidance Cell

Career guidance is the process of helping individuals make sound educational and occupational choices, and take career decisions matched to the demands of the future of work. The cell functions with the objective of creating learning opportunities across academic and professional areas.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Constituted as per the statutory requirements of the UGC, the cell plans, executes and reviews quality-enhancement initiatives in line with UGC and BCI guidelines. It meets quarterly and publishes its report.

Raising a concern

Every grievance is heard — and answered.

Students may write to the Grievance Redressal Committee or the Sexual Harassment Committee directly. Complaints are treated confidentially and taken up under the UGC framework.
